Pham Tuan Ngoc (1982) is a photographer, an analog printer, and a photography consultant. He is also the founder of Noirfoto Darkroom-Gallery-Studio dedicated to the art of photography.
In 2011, Ngoc started to work as a professional photographer and photo editor in editorial and commercial photography. In 2017, he established Noirfoto,the first professional darkroom open to the public in Vietnam,where he expands his experiments and creation with all the analog photographic processes,improving the traditional photographic techniques from the first day of photography history. Ngoc is dedicated to pursuing perfection in the practice of these techniques as an intersection of art, craft, science, and history.
His approach is based on the belief in the artistic, historical, scientific, and cultural values of traditional photography and the values of craftsmanship and knowledge accumulation.
Moreover, Ngoc organized and directly joined as an instructor or speaker for talks, seminars, lectures, workshops, portfolio reviews, etc.,about photography, collaborating with many local and international individuals and organizations.
